Part A: Permanent / Life Membership

For Individual Residents

Eligibility Criteria

  • 1.Must be a permanent resident of Abhay Khand area and legal owner of a residential flat/house.
  • 2.Spouse of flat owner is eligible if residing in the same flat with required identity documents.
  • 3.Minimum age must be 25 years.
  • 4.Must not be involved in any criminal case.
  • 5.Must not have any incapacity (mental and/or physical).
  • 6.Must not have been declared insolvent.
  • 7.Must agree to follow the Federation's constitution, rules, objectives, and decisions.

Important Rules

  • 1.Only one person per flat/residence can get permanent membership to ensure equal representation.
  • 2.Permanent membership is personal and non-transferable.
  • 3.If a permanent member no longer resides in Abhay Khand area, membership may be terminated as per Executive Committee's decision.
  • 4.Executive Committee has full authority to cancel membership if found involved in anti-federation, illegal, immoral, or undisciplined activities.

Member Rights

  • 1.Permanent members can vote in Federation elections and contest for positions.
  • 2.Federation Executive Committee elections are held every three years as per the constitution.
  • 3.Minimum 2 years of membership may be required to contest elections.

Part B: General Membership

For Residential Societies

All RWAs (registered or unregistered) working in Abhay Khand area are eligible for ordinary/general membership, except unauthorised colony RWAs. Membership is through the society, not individually.

For societies with 25 or fewer flats

₹500/year

For societies with more than 25 flats

₹20 per flat/year

Example: 48 flats × ₹20 = ₹960/year

Payment: Payment to be deposited by the society's executive committee into Federation's authorized bank account.

Note: Annual renewal of general membership is mandatory.

Part C: Membership Validity

  • 1Membership remains valid as long as the member/society is associated with Abhay Khand area.
  • 2Executive Committee has the right to cancel membership if any member or society is found involved in illegal, immoral, or anti-federation activities.
  • 3Fair investigation and decision as per rules will be taken by the Executive Committee on any complaint or allegation.
  • 4Provision for Show Cause / Hearing opportunity to present one's side may be added.

Part D: Federation Permanent ID Card

Every Permanent/Life Member will be provided a unique Permanent Federation ID by the Federation.

1ID card is valid only for the registered member and is non-transferable.
2ID card serves as official proof of Federation membership.
3Can be used in meetings, elections, voting, and other official activities.
4Misuse, forgery, or lending ID card to others is considered serious misconduct.
5In case of loss or damage, duplicate ID can be issued on written request with Executive Committee approval and prescribed fee.
6ID card will display member number, photo, and validity status for transparency.
